Here are my favorite hair care products that I use and love.
For starters, I want to share my entire list of hair products that I use on a daily basis. I’ve been using these same products for over 10 years and I keep coming back. Here’s why…
Paul Mitchell Shampoo & Conditioner is my all time favorite! It smells amazing and it does not weigh my hair down or make it greasy. A lot of shampoos out there turn my thin hair into a grease factory by day two. Sorry I know that sounded awful! It’s true! I have thin long(ish) hair and I hate when I purchase a new product only to find that the only good thing about it was the initial smell. I use the color protector version. Honestly every Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner I’ve ever used worked great on my hair!
Biolage leave in tonic once again, amazing product! Now I know one is not supposed to wash their hair every day and I really do try not to but if you wash frequently like me, you will love all 4 of these products I’m showing you! I use this leave in tonic after every wash. Just squeeze the trigger right on to your towel dried hair and run your fingers through, nice!
Super Skinny Serum by Paul Mitchell I can’t exactly remember how this awesome product fell into my routine but again, I use it every time I wash my hair. This Serum does not leave a horrible greasy feeling in your hair and the smell is intoxicating! This product is especially good to use after using a straightener or after blow drying. To be honest I use this Serum even if I’m letting my hair air dry.
You shouldn’t wash your hair every day!!
This we all know! But guess what? I wash my hair (almost) every day. I have to. I guess I could resort to a dry shampoo to get rid of my greasy scalp but I haven’t found one I like enough yet. After 24 hours (literally) of my hair being washed it’s greasy and unmanageable. I’ve lived with a hair stylist my entire life (mom) I know the rules. If you find that you struggle with the same hair problems as I do then these 4 products are just right for you!
Aren’t these products expensive?
They can be, you have to find the right place to purchase them. For the longest time, I would have my poor mom grab them for me. One day I went into JCPenneys to get my hair done and there they were. Cheaper than what my mom paid for them using her stylist discount. Another thing I like to share is to buy them in bulk! The larger ones (liters) usually come together, shampoo & conditioner and they cost about the same price as a single bottle anywhere else.
I decided to share one of my new found favorites. My hairdresser was selling this brush the last time I went into get my hair done and I actually just forgot to buy it. While I was out shopping the other day I found the same exact brush at TjMaxx store and it was only 3.99. It was a heck of a lot cheaper so I decided to give it a try. I love it! It does what it promises to do. It gets the tangles out with minimal effort on your part. If you have had your eye on this brush but did not want to pay top dollar for it check out your local stores. If there is a TjMaxx nearby go and grab one, it’s worth it. This brush works well. For all of you moms out there with tender headed little ones, this is something that you will definitely want to try.
