Honestly, it’s not hard for me to get the cleaning bug 🐜 It’s funny what things motivate me to start cleaning, and once I start, I do not stop until the last tile is mopped and the last mirror is shining. No seriously, I even wait until the last load comes out of the dryer. I have these moments several times a month, so my home is mostly organized and clean. Some things get neglected when you clean like this. For instance when you only deep clean your home every six to eight days the floors seem to go first along with the counters and laundry (I used to despise laundry) like I’ve said before you have to do a load every night, you just do. That alone has saved me from that “holy crap” I didn’t even know we owned this many clothes feeling. You know exactly what I’m talking about. So I’m about to share my first cleaning motivator!
For a while I scooped up every magazine that said the word Organized. These type of magazines give so many ideas and diy hacks that if that doesn’t do it for you the beautiful photos will! I’ve found some of these ideas to be a very big help for my family and I.
The reason I fell in love with this particular magazine was because of all the ideas it gave me for our new home. Here’s one example:
Another thing that gets me in the spirit to clean is good cleaning products. For me, cleaning with bleach has always been the way, but then I realized how awful it was that my family was breathing in bleach all the time. I shopped around and chose this cleaner….
Meyers Clean Day but it has to be lavender! There is something about spraying this stuff. It’s a great cleaner but it also give off such an inviting scent that I could smell all day. If you haven’t tried this product I highly recommend doing so.
Spring cleaning already….
This is just the beginning. I just get excited about stuff like this. I know I do not like clutter and have always been an organized person. I try as many things that I can to get me in the mood to bring it out! The key to a well maintained home is consistency and motivation. Sometimes all it takes are little things that help you enjoy your daily chores.
